An organization for NE Oklahoma rural community galleries and other art-related business and services has recently formed with 5 charter galleries. Prairie Wind Gallery Collective meets regularly to plan events, discuss marketing & networking issues & trends in art, and to exchange ideas and insights with participating members. Dakota Rock's Gallery of Western Art is housed inside The Market of Owasso, OK, on E. 86th St. across from Owasso High School. Artist Tom Robb of Tulsa, OK operates Ballard's Frame Distributors at 1147  N. Visit a western Oklahoma gem on the prairie at www.metcalfemuseum.org. Featuring the artwork of homesteader, Augusta C. Metcalfe and other visiting artists, the museum is located on the Metcalfe homestead, the Break O'Day Farm near Durham and Cheyenne, OK.
